MUMBAI: It was strongly believed that Sanjivani 2, the much-hyped second season of medical romance Sanjivani, would result in good TRPs. With Mohnish Behl and Gurdeep Kohli continuing the show's legacy and fresh couple Namit Khanna and Surbhi Chandna being roped in, it looked good on paper.
However, the numbers were never on fire and in fact, the show kept underperforming in spite of several twists and new entries being attempted. The result is that the show is now all set to go off-air in March. However, there have been reports that the makers are working on season 3.
Producer Sidharth Malhotra, however, told a media portal that not Sanjivani but a medical show is being written. He said, 'Nothing decided; I will write the full things first. I will make this show how I want it without anyone’s feedback or approval as is the case if you pre-sell it to anyone and when I’m happy then I will release it.'
