Chhavi Mittal is excited about acting in two short films

Beautiful and sexy Chhavi Mittal, who impressed every one with her acting prowess in show like Tumhari Disha, Bandini and Ek Chutki Aasmaan, will soon be seen in two shorts films. “The first one is called Kasak and it is based on a kothewali and the second project is yet untitled which focuses on a successful film actress, who is now out of glory. We have just finished shooting the former in Goa, which is ten minutes in duration while the other 25 minute film, which also stars Sachin Shroff, is yet to go on floors. Both the projects will soon be showcased across all international film festivals,” shares Chhavi with Tellychakkar.com. Although Chhavi agrees that shorts film don’t really bring the popular acclaim, but she is doing it “to placate the actor within. I don’t see this as a stepping stone to something else.” Furthermore, she also feels that her long stint in television really helped her in the shooting process of the short films. “We TV actors can not only deliver our lines in quick time but also work in any condition as well.” Coming to the children’s laugher talent show Chhote Miyan, which she is hosting on Colors, Chhavi accepts that the numbers are less, “but that was bound happen for it was launched just before IPL when most shows get hit.” She continues, “The real challenges in a children stand-up show is the quality of content, you really can’t go below the belt as is the case with adult avatars of the same genre. I thoroughly enjoy my stint for not only I love kids but hosting is something what I have not done before. Prior to this I have always taken part in several reality shows (Star Ya Rockstar and Jhoom India) as a contestant. So the big difference is that for the first time I have not in tension.” Lastly, she ends it by sharing that in the future, she would love to participate in a stand up or adventure show.
