MUMBAI: COVID-19 pandemic has created a crisis situation and doctors and other professionals are working relentlessly to ensure the safety of citizens. Earlier, the entire country united and clapped for them. The nation once again united to thank them by lighting candles, diyas.
Our honourable PM Narendra Modi made the announcement on 3 April and urged people to switch off their lights on 5 April 2020 at 9 pm and just lit a candle/diya or switch on the mobile flash light in order to show their support as the entire nation and world fights against this pandemic. Citizens were urged to stay indoors while doing the same.
Just like the previous times, celebrities and commoners supported our PM’s this new activity. With equal enthusiasm and support, this time too celebs showed their support in this activity. After his Friday’s announcement, PM had also tweeted about reminding the citizens of Indian regarding this activity. His reminding tweet read, “#9pm9minute”
