NOC trouble for Chandragupta Maurya

Chandragupta Maurya went off air abruptly with the sudden closure of Imagine TV (Turner group). Since then there has been a huge buzz that the show will make a comeback on Sony Entertainment Television (we broke the news). But it has been quite some time since the news broke. So what is the latest update on Maurya’s phoenix like story? Well, our sources have told us that the channel (Sony) has asked the production house to get a NOC (Non Objection Certificate) from Turner group. Nothing can get a go ahead till the NOC is obtained. “That’s true, Sony is asking for NOC and it will take time for us to get it. It’s a process and we have to undergo it,” affirmed Nilanjana (co producer) of the show. And as we reported, the serial’s lead (Ashish Sharma) opted out of Maurya. And his replacement will be made only after the makers procure the NOC. So till then…keep hoping for the best!!!
