Zee TV’s new offering Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, a journey which will take the audience back to their teenage days, hit the air waves yesterday (21 May 2012). And to further up the masala quotient, actor Shakti Singh has been roped in by the makers (Shakuntalam Telefilms) to essay a pivotal role.
Shakti gained popularity for his role in Star Plus’ Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. He was last seen spilling magic on the small screen in Gulaal (Star Plus).
In Sapne Suhane, Shakti Singh will be seen as Rachana’s (Mahima Makwana) father, Dayal. He will be conservative in nature and will be deeply attached to his roots. Moreover, he will be very protective towards his daughter and will get perturbed when naughty Gunjun (Rupal Tyagi) will bump into their life.
When contacted Shakti Singh, he confirmed his entry to Tellychakkar.com and said, “My character is very important or could be said that due to my role the drama will unfold in the house. I am very thankful that the production house gave me this opportunity.”
