It starts off with the dashing and debonair Karan Kundrra who speaks about his introduction scene in 'It Happened in Calcutta'. Speaking about his character Ronobir Chatterjee making heads turn right from the word go, the actor shares, “He is the Mona Lisa of boys. I mean there is his college induction going on and the guy that introduces me says that I am the college topper and I play the guitar. At that very moment, all that I was thinking of is ‘Ye doctors hai? Ye doctors banenge? If you see the scene, I’m wearing specs here. The reason for that is because I was hiding my face and simply couldn’t believe how bizarre the scene was. This is clearly my favourite scene. I am a huge fan of my work but this scene was a bit too much considering it was my introduction. What were they thinking? There is a Rockstar type mic on stage. That’s when the SRK inside me came out and I spread my arms. Being such a huge fan of him, I thought of establishing Shahrukh Khan in the 60s by doing this, which was not even in the script! The craziness didn’t just end here. I then openly start flirting with a girl during the induction. I mean that’s the very first conversation. No hi or hello, I’m directly hitting on her. We had to show how much swag this character has. And can you believe it, only the hero gets an intro. Teachers got nothing there.”
Up next was Varun Sood who plays the role of Rahul in 'Ragini MMS 2 Returns'. Speaking about his introduction role, he bursts out laughing saying, “Please take me to a hotel where the manager is shirtless and everyone is absolutely chill with it. I want to go here. For everyone who thought my character Rahul was an innocent guy, I’d like to burst that bubble. Rahul was not at all innocent for he was the biggest Harami on the show. Another funny scene on the show required me to pour water over myself with the girls around. I felt like I had a shower with a 500ml bottle as the water just wasn’t getting over. It was one of the most difficult scenes for me as I am not at all like this in real life. ‘Rahul harami hai, Varun nahi’. It was so awkward to see the girls all over me running their hands on my body. Rahul lived his dream while it was really weird for Varun.”
Karan Singh Grover made heads turn playing the role of Keshav in Boss – Baap of Special Services. He couldn’t stop raving about a scene involving a bomb exploding. “No Please. Don’t make him blow up. He is too cute to die.” Karan later covers his eyes as he sees Keshav jumping from the window saying, “I simply can’t watch this anymore. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s jumping Keshav”
Fans got to see how adorable and bubbly Asha Negi is as the actress who plays the character of Gauravi in Baarish spoke about a scene that left her in splits. “Gauravi can be really cute, she’s funny. There is such a big party going on, she tells Shreya (Priya Banerjee) ‘Tum Dabeli Khao na. What are you doing?’ I remember me and Priya tripping on this while shooting this scene. Not just this, but we had so much fun with the cast and crew during the entire show. Also, Season 2 is lined up and once things are back to normal, you’ll get to see all the fun and excitement. Till then, give all your love to season 1. Please watch Baarish Season 1 and give us love!”
Saving the best for last, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, who played the role of chef Nitya Sharma, reviewed her co-actor from Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala. If you’re thinking she’s talking about Rajeev Khandelwal, well think again. The actor said, “I was so nervous to act alongside him. Look at his impeccable performance. No one can match up to his energy. My co-actor was a rooster in the first scene. He made me so comfortable and we did a wonderful scene together. There is a scene where I am shouting at a guest and explaining to him that I had to marinate the live chicken for hours so that he could enjoy the dish. I kept asking myself, ‘Why is she so angry’ but then I realized after reading the script that the dialogue is absolutely perfect. Yes, I’m talking about ‘Aao toh welcome, jao toh bheed kam’. This line became such a popular dialogue. It’s one that my fans keep reminding me of even today. Speaking of fans, please do tell me how you find the gully romance between Nitya and Vikram.”
Shabir Ahluwalia on defending himself in Fixerr, reacts in a funny way saying , “Bro Bandook tere hath me hai, Goli Tu Chalayega, Maarega tu... aur tu merese puch raha hai ? Kadak scene” And what? suddenly the game changes to getting the gun in my hand just with a turn. “woah that was quick. No graphics, asli take tha who”. Ending with watching a conversation between the two he laughs and says “who talks like that bro? Heart of gold”
With these fine actors and actresses giving viewers across the country some memorable performances to cherish, you can be rest assured that their reviews are funny and entertaining as well!
