Punit raises a stink on the dance floor

Competition ke liye kuch bhi karega seems to be the mantra of the Dance India Dance contestants. Apparently Punit Pathak, one of the 12 finalists of the show didn't bathe for the entire week. No, he wasn't conserving water for environment reasons; it's just that he had to bring alive a wild, ferocious cannibalistic ape trapped in a cage in his latest act for an upcoming episode and in a bid to make it as real as possible, Punit is said to have gone un-shaven and without a bath for over a week. Sources from the sets reveal that the dancer's brother has been accompanying him everywhere he goes with a bottle of his favorite fragrance Calvin Klein to mask the offensive body odour. While our sympathies rest with his Master Remo D'souza and all those who have had to rehearse with Punit in the course of his 'unhygienic week', our heart also goes out to anchor Saumya Tandon who was forced by Grand Master Mithun Da to shake a leg with Punit after his act! The poor lady had to grin and bear it.
