The unit of Playtime Creations’ Ruk Jaana Nahin is in a state of mourning, as the very much loved dog Sheru passed away due to a freak accident that happened yesterday (12 June 2012). The dog was lying on the road just outside the set when a production guy from the adjacent set of Uttaran apparently drove his car over the dog unknowingly, as his vision was blocked by a parked car. Sheru was the favourite of all the 80-85 cast and crew members; he used to reside there from the very first day of the show shoot. The protagonists of the show, Anirrudh Dave and Pooja Sharma were very much fond of the dog, and were like Sheru’s papa and mama on the set. Sheru was a 7-8 day old puppy when he was first seen in the set of Ruk Jaana Nahin. From that day onwards, Sheru along with his two siblings took shelter in the set. Talking about Sheru, Anirrudh Dave told Tellychakkar.com, “Sheru was seven months old, but he was really very healthy. He was treated royally by one and all on the sets. He used to sleep in our make-up rooms, right under the AC on a separate bed made for him. We will miss him very badly.” Pooja Sharma too expressed her sorrow saying, “Anirrudh and I were Sheru’s parents. We used to take care of him really well. He used to sleep in my room always. It’s sad to not have him around.” Tellychakkar.com offers our tribute to Sheru...
