MUMBAI: If there is one show which has made an evergreen place in the hearts of the audience, it is Ramayan.
The show was extremely popular back then and now, with the shows not being telecast, many popular shows are being re-run. Ramayan happens to be one of them. Even today, the show was viewed as much and infact, it was soaring high on TRP’s. Infact, after the show was telecast on DD National, it is now being re-run on Star Plus.
Among the many Ramayan characters, Sita was glorified and there are many actresses who brough Sita to life on television. The first one who played the character of Sita was Dipika Chiklia. She became so popular that people used to seek her blessings.

How can we forget the show Radha Krshn starring Sumedh Mudgalkar and Mallika Singh. In one of the sequences Mallika also got to enact Sita.
