Suhasini Mulay the vetran actress who has been seen in many televison soaps and Bollywood movies started her career as an assistant to Satyajit Ray in the Bengali film Jana Aranya. Later she assisted Mrinal Sen as assistant director in Mrigaya. Since then, she is actively producing films and has made over 60 documentaries. She also achieved national awards for four of them.
