MUMBAI: Periods are normal and natural. However, there is still a stigma around it and people are usually not comfortable discussing about it openly. Celebrities have time and again taken the initiative to end the stigma around it. We even have a Bollywood film called Pad Man starring Akshay Kumar which aims to spread awareness on menstrual hygiene. Now, sports icon PV Sindhu has come forward to do the same.
To mark Menstrual Hygiene Day, PV Sindhu took to social media and shared a picture of herself wherein she can be seen displaying a placard which has the text ‘# Its Just A Period.’
