Rajesh Khanna stops intake of food; critical

India’s first superstar Rajesh Khanna’s condition is not all that well with him having stopped intake of food since the last few days. "Rajeshji is unwell. He has stopped having food since the last couple of days," said Ashwin, the star’s manager adding, “He is not able to have his food." However, he refused to divulge whether the ailing star would be shifted to a hospital. It is well-known that Kaka, as he is fondly known, has been battling cancer since April last. This has led to his health condition worsen and him getting feeble. What is ironical is the star who played the cancer stricken in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Anand, is in real life facing the same situation. Ashwin also said that the star’s estranged wife Dimple and both his daughters Twinkle and Rinkie are always by his side. Here it must be stated that Khanna gifted a BMW to Rinkie out of his recent earning from the R-Balki-directed TV commercial of Havells fan. Incidentally, Khanna ruled the film industry in the 1960s and 1970s with innumerable hits like Aradhana, Anand, Namak Haram, Aap Ki Kasam, Kudrat, Agar Tum Na Hote and Souten among others.
