Shocking! Colors’ Vidya gets TERMINATED

MUMBAI: Another show bites the dust! The Coronavirus pandemic has hit the entertainment industry terribly.

Film releases are being pushed to further dates and many TV shows are axed. Sony TV already informed about discontinuing three of their shows namely Beyhadh 2, Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein and Patiala Babes. Star Plus is most likely pulling the plug on Nazar, Dadi Amma... Dadi Amma Maan Jaao and Dil Jaise Dhadke... Dhadakne Do and Star Bharat is shutting down Kartik Purnima while Zee TV’s Dil Yeh Ziddi Hai and Ishq Subhan Allah will also won’t return post the lockdown.

We now learn that Colors’ Vidya, which stars Meera Deosthale and Namish Taneja in the lead roles, will also be axed.

The show producer Mahesh Pandey shared this shocking news in his latest post on his Instagram handle. He mentioned that the news came as a shocker to him. In the beginning, he felt rattled with such a sudden decision however, he realized that the reason behind the show shutting down is the Coronavirus pandemic.

The virus has taken a toll over the world. With India gradually lifting the lockdown in a staggered way, shoots will soon resume and there will be less chaos about the entertainment fraternity being affected.
