Irrfan Khan's wife Sutapa Sikdar's emotional post for her late husband

MUMBAI: We are still coming to terms with the fact that Irrfan Khan is no more. The prolific actor has left behind a legacy of astonishing films that will always keep him alive in our memories. It's been more than a month since his demise and his family members are sharing some unseen pictures of the actor, making it all the more difficult to accept the reality. Recently, as Mumbai witnessed its first showers of Monsoon, Irrfan's wife Sutapa Sikdar took to Instagram to remember her late husband and his love.

Sutapa shared a few pictures on her Instagram and wrote that she can hear Irrfan. She captioned her post as "And the rain comes I hear you Irrfan.. Between that realm and this the rain connects.. I am drenched in your love." The first picture is of the dark clouds that engulfed the sky, the second video of the showers, and the third picture sees Irrfan Khan swimming in a river.

Earlier, the actor's son Babil Khan had shared a video of his father jumping into ice-cold water and enjoying a swim in the river. It appears that Irrfan loved to swim.  In fact, in an interview with Architectural Digest, Irrfan had spoken about having a water body around him as he explained the Turkish bathtub set-up in his home. He was quoted saying, "It has to have its own ecosystem, survive on its own. That fascinates me. That the fishes don’t have to be given oxygen separately, that the water doesn’t have to be cleaned or changed."

Have a look.
