MUMBAI: The Indian television industry has witnessed lots of TV shows over the years with a variety of concepts. While many proved to be a hit among the fans, some could not garner praises.
There are many TV shows which were inspired by some international television serials. So, here's a list of Indian daily soaps that are foreign adaptations.
1. Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi
The popular Colors' show was inspired by the novel and British TV series Wuthering Heights. The show starred Shakti Arora and Radhika Madan in the lead roles.
2. Sumit Sambhal Lega
The popular comedy-drama show was inspired by US TV series Everbody Loves. The show featured Manasi Parekh and Namit Das.
3. Badi Doooor Se Aaye Hai
The popular comedy show became everyone's favourite. The show was inspired by 3rd Rock From The Sun.

4. Reporters
Rajeev Khandelwal and Kritika Kamra starrer show Reporters became extremely popular. The show was inspired by popular US series The Newsroom.
5. 24
24 is the Indian remake of the popular US thriller series of the same name. It featured Anil Kapoor in the lead role.
Zee TV's popular long-running show Kumkum Bhagya is inspired by Jane Austen's novel Sense and Sensibility.
