MUMBAI: Actor Karan Jotwani will be seen playing a simple character, Imtiaz Alkazi, in the upcoming web series "Bebaakee". He says it has been a challenge to essay the role.

"I won't deny the fact that it was not difficult. It was a challenge in itself to play a very simplistic character that doesn't have a lot of complexities," he said.

"Sometimes my expressions would go overboard and the director would tell me 'slow down, you are supposed to be a good-hearted and a simple person, who is loved by everyone. I think that was the challenging part, but again it's been a great experience so far. We have some more to shoot, so excited for that as well," he added.
