Veteran actress Supriya Pilgankar who is known for many roles over the years played Shaheer Sheikh’s reel life mother in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi. While she had a major role in the show, her bond with Shaheer proved to be so strong that the two are still pegged as mother and son even after years of show ending. When the show started she was asked about her bond with Shaheer to which she responded, “I have seen close relations between a mother and son in actual life but never experienced it. My bonding with Dev (Shaheer) on and off screen has been beautiful so far. It has helped me in building that chemistry,” she opines. The veteran actress also has words of praise for her handsome onscreen son. Supriya says he is a fantastic human being with a child-like aura about him. “He has grown as an actor. Our scenes come out very spontaneously”.

But when the show started airing again on the show, Supriya Pilgaonkar along with the other cast of the show went in nostalgia mode and wanted those days of working together back. “Just like a well-oiled machine, our cast and crew worked day in and day out to make this show a success and it worked. I do miss working with a talented actor like Shaheer, when we did scenes it was like he is really my son and I felt protective of him. I wish we could rewind to those days, but we have moved on and I’m happy the show is still loved so much.”

Watch Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi at 9:30 PM, Monday to Friday only on Sony Entertainment Television.
