MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise has shocked everyone and the whole film fraternity has been giving its views on it and expressing their condolences. A prominent face missing from all social media has been actress Ankita Lokhande. Sushant and Ankita starred together in the hit TV show, Pavitra Rishta which was produced by Ekta Kapoor, after which the leads of the show became household names. Not only was their chemistry on-screen great, off it as well they were together for a period of six years.

Sushant’s last rites took place in Mumbai on Monday, but Ankita was not present. Later, she was seen reaching the late actor’s Bandra residence. Meanwhile, a recent video shared by the paparazzi also shows Ankita coming out of Ekta Kapoor’s residence later in the evening. Soon after her visit with Ekta Kapoor, the latter shared Ankita’s two-week-old post about Pavitra Rishta completing 11 years on her Instagram story. Sharing the video marking 11 years of Pavitra Rishta, Ekta Kapoor wrote, “11 years!!! Till.forever.”
Meanwhile, two weeks ago, Ekta Kapoor had shared a post celebrating Pavitra Rishta’s 11 years, and wrote about Sushant Singh Rajput’s smile winning hearts. Sushant had replied to the post commenting that he is forever grateful to Ekta Kapoor.
Ekta Kapoor was shocked to find out about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, and sharing a screenshot of that conversation, she wrote, “Not fair sushi ! One week everything changed ! Not fair my baby!”
