Ekta Kapoor has replied to Hindustani Bhau's legal notice. Read to know the details about the same.

MUMBAI: According to a leading entertainment portal, producer Ekta Kapoor has called Hindustani Bhau's allegations 'baseless' and 'misleading’.

On June 5, a legal notice was sent to Ekta Kapoor by Vikas Fhatak popularly known as Hindustani Bhau. His lawyer Ali Kaashif Khan had mentioned that they have asked that Ekta tenders an apology to the Indian Army, pay damages of Rs. 100 crore to the Indian government, remove the illicit episode and refrain from doing any such acts further again.

Furthermore, Bhau's notice also kept the condition to be followed within 14 days else they will be going ahead strictly along with the police complaint as well as a petition in high court to ban ALTBalaji.

And now Ekta's legal team has replied to the notice. It states, "The notice is completely frivolous and baseless. And based on misrepresentation of facts and ignores the correct factual and legal position. Your client is misleading the public at large, authorities and causing public nuisance. The videos uploaded by your client are insulting, harassing, provoking, misleading, abusive, derogatory, frivolous, slanderous and defamatory. Your client is put to strict notice of the same."

It further states, "Our client will not succumb to any illegal demand of your client."

Hindustani Bhau told SpotboyE, "They do not respect our Indian Army. By removing the illicit video and re-uploading the edited video, they have proven it themselves that they have prima facie admitted to their crime, however, they are still shameless to not issue an apology to the Indian Army.

An FIR has already been registered against Ekta Kapoor and others in Indore, which clearly means that offence has been committed, we are waiting for the Mumbai police for similar prompt action."

Meanwhile, Bhau's Advocate Ali Kaashif Khan said, "We are in hope that the Mumbai police will follow it's duty as per section 154 of CRPC and take cognizance against offences. Still, if they fail to do so, we will be going through the Magistrate court by filing a private complaint against Ekta Kapoor and others, nothing against the country and it's army shall be accepted by any means.

The reply given by them is nothing but a mere copy paste draft for the formality purpose, they have very well accepted that they shall be defending themselves, we will prove before the court who is right and wrong and who has breached the laws. We have enemies inside our country only, we don't need outsiders."
