MUMBAI: It was reported that all those who had been in contact with Sushant Singh Rajput for the last ten days leading up to his suicide, would be summoned by the Mumbai Police. Yesterday, Sushant’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty reached Bandra Police Station in the morning, and was interrogated for several hours, eventually leaving the police station at night. A report reveals details about Rhea’s statement and what the interrogation entailed. The actress and Sushant were reportedly living together at his penthouse in Carter Road, which he rented with his friend, Siddharth Pitani. However, a few days before Sushant’s demise, Rhea had moved out. A source informed that police raised suspicion about it and Rhea informed them that they had had a fight after which she left. “She showed the text messages exchanged after that between her and Sushant and also told them that they did speak over calls,” said the source.
It was also revealed through call records that Rhea was the last person Sushant made a call to, on Saturday, before he went to sleep. “Rhea happens to be the last person Sushant dialed before going to sleep. The actor called Mahesh Shetty first who didn't answer and then called Rhea who also didn't pick up the call. He went to sleep, woke up, and saw Mahesh had returned the call. He called him back but it didn't get connected,” shared the source.
