Sushant Singh Rajput demise: Doctors to be interrogated soon

Mumbai Police have recorded statements of 15 people. Now, doctors will be interrogated.

MUMBAI: Last Sunday, Sushant Singh Rajput breathed his last in a shocking course of events. After reportedly battling depression for years, the actor hanged himself to death in his Mumbai residence. Ever since the tragic incident, the Mumbai Police is neck-deep into the investigation. So far, they have recorded statements of 15 people, including Sushant’s father, friends, house staff, legal advisor and his alleged girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty. And now, if the latest reports in Pinkvilla are anything to go by, the police officials are waiting for the forensic reports of Sushant’s blood samples and some items collected from his apartment.

The reports state how Sushant Singh Rajput’s doctors are yet to be interrogated and they are expected to be called to the Bandra Police Station soon. The portal further adds that the cops also await the forensic lab reports of Sushant’s blood samples and some pieces that they gathered from his house. Further, Sushant’s call and data records are also being retrieved. It is being believed that it will help the police officers in finding a lead amid the investigation. 

As per Abhishek Trimukhe, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone IX), the police officials have also recorded the statements given by the late actor’s managerial staff. 

In addition to this, the cops have also retained a copy of Sushant Singh Rajput’s contract with Yash Raj Films (YRF). “In #SushantSinghRajput death case at Bandra Police Station, statements of his managerial staff recorded. Investigation officer has received contract copy signed by Rajput from Yash Raj Films,” said Abhishek Trimukhe to ANI.
