MUMBAI : The loss of a talented, brilliant, and beautiful person like Sushant Singh Rajput has left fans in despair. It has been more than a week since the actor left us for his heavenly abode but the internet is still buzzing with grief, shock, and sorrow.
Amidst the tragedy, all fans of the actor had asked for his last film Dil Bechara to release in theatres instead of OTT. They had also trended a special hashtag to put forth their demand; however, some time ago, the film's makers announced that Dil Bechara will directly make it to Disney+ Hotstar on July 24, 2020.
A new poster of the film featuring Sushant and Sanjana, too, has been unveiled. This, however, has left all Sushant fans angry, disappointed, and unhappy.
Taking to Twitter, a lot of them are venting out their anger for not fulfilling their wish of releasing Sushant's last film on the big screen, as it could've been a perfect tribute to the powerhouse performer.
We came across tweets like, "Ye chota sa khushii bhi cheen liya yaar. WHY?" and "We are not happy that u have decided to show it on ott platform, he didn't like such platforms... He always wanted to release it on big screen... You all cheated. You all are guilty. We will not forgive you all. #SSRMurderCase #ArrestMurdererOfSushant."
Other unhappy fans wrote, "So they stole the last chance of seeing Sushant on big screen for one last time. They couldn't even give us our last moments with Sushant. And you guys were talking about justice!" and "Wish it will release in theatres also after covid-19, Sushant fans, his family at least deserve this thing. "

"His fans would love to see him one last time on 70 mm, though it won't be easy but I'm sure they want to see it on big screen. #DilBecharaOnBigScreen #SushantSinghRajput," another wrote.
As a tribute to Sushant, the film will be available for all the Disney+ Hotstar users, including the ones with no subscription. “A story of love, of hope, and of endless memories. Celebrating our dearest, and the late #SushantSinghRajput ‘s legacy that will be etched in the minds of all and cherished forever. #DilBechara is going to be coming to everyone on @DisneyPlusHotstar on July 24. For the love of Sushant and his love for cinema, the movie will be available to all subscribers and non-subscribers."
Disney+ Hotstar; and will be available to all subscribers and non-subscribers across India. Our prayers and wishes to his family and loved ones," read his co-star Sanjana Sanghi's caption.

I am not a theatre person,I always watch Movies on my phone. But this particular movie should not be released on OTT platforms. Sushant Singh Rajpoot deserves a lot more. This film should not share the same fate as "Drive".Sushant should have a better tribute.
