Kemmu-Soha Ali Khan Get An Inflated Electricity Bill; Actress Seeks Out Power Company, Says They Were 'Underbilled Past Few Months'

MUMBAI: Lately, many people in the city have been raising concerns and complaining about their inflated electricity bills. It all began when actress Taapsee Pannu questioned her power company on social media about the inflated electricity bill. After Taapsee Pannu, other celebrities like Neha Dhupia, Renuka Shahane, Pulkit Samrat, Huma Qureshi and Raj Kundra were also shocked to see the exorbitantly high power bills. 

Now, as Kunal Kemmu-Soha Ali Khan also get an inflated electricity bill, the couple seeks out the Power company and the actress points out how they were under-billed for the past months.

Taking to her official Twitter handle, Soha Ali Khan tweeted, “Are we just meant to accept these inflated electricity rates and pay them? @Adani_Elec_Mum we have received a bill that is three times our usual amount. Could you please explain?” 

In her tweet, the actress questioned her electricity company whether they are meant to accept the inflated electricity rates and pay them. Tagging the power company in her tweet, Soha mentioned that they have received a bill that is three times the usual amount they pay. Seeking out the power company, Soha asked them to please explain the further needed procedure.

Meanwhile, as Soha Ali Khan took to her Twitter handle and raised concerns regarding the payment of the electricity bill, her power company made sure they reply back to the actress. While Soha and other celebrities raise concerns over their inflated electricity bills, actor Rohit Roy revealed he has an answer to the high electricity bills.

Actor Rohit Roy replied to Raj Kundra on Twitter and wrote, “Guys because last 2 months they charged us only 50% of the bill ! So this month is a cumulative amount.” The actor explained that everyone has received exorbitantly high electricity bills as the power company charged everyone with only 50% of the bill for the last 2 months. Explaining further, Roy mentioned that hence the bill of this month is a cumulative amount
