MUMBAI: Legendary Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan passed away today due to a cardiac arrest. Saroj Khan was 71, and had been admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital in Mumbai after she complained of breathing issues. She was also suffering from multiple other ailments. Fondly called Masterji, Saroj Khan was known for choreographing popular songs like Dola Re Dola, Ek Do Teen, and Dhak Dhak, among thousands of other songs. She is survived by husband, a son, and two daughters.

Her demise was mourned by Bollywood celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Nimrat Kaur, filmmaker Kunal Kohli, Riteish Deshmukh, Manoj Bajpayee, Sunil Grover, and many others. They tweeted their condolences and remembered Saroj Khan for her iconic work.
