The day I became my husband's spoilt brat

A page from the personal diary of Roshni Chopra I have always been very modern even in terms of the way I look at situations. Marriage has always been special to me, but I never understood why people made a big deal about it until I got married. The day I got married was one of the best days of my life and very close to my heart. I get very emotional thinking about it. In April 2006, after a courtship of four years I finally got engaged to Siddharth Anand. Soon, a lot of exciting things had started happening in my life and I truly enjoyed each and every thing from shopping to the pheras. Later that year in December I got married and after I tied the knot, I realised marriage is indeed a big deal. The way it changes your lifestyle, makes you much more responsible is amazing. Marriage changes you so much and two families merge to become one. It takes time to adjust in a new family and adapting to a new lifestyle also becomes a challenge. But let me tell you that I haven't changed a lot and I am pretty much the same I was before. Now I have become naughtier than ever. I think it's because of Siddharth. I have become his spoilt brat now. I have started having more fun than I did before marriage. I party and go shopping with all my girl pals. Now I respect the instituition of marriage much more than I used to before. It's really very exciting and beautiful to get married and I would advise everyone to take the plunge as soon as they can. Many people who meet me are shocked to see me married. But I truly enjoy my married life.
