Bengali actress Koel Mallick and family tested positive for Coronavirus!

It is an unfortunate time for Bengali actress Koel Mallick and her whole family as they all have tested positive for COVID 19 and it came as a shock for the family. We wish them a healthy recovery.

MUMBAI: Amidst the perpetual surge and seemingly unstoppable count of coronavirus cases in India, considerable public figures seem to be now getting into the mix of things too and these instances certainly shock compared to others.

Recently, Indiaforums reported about how actor Mohena Kumari Singh, her brother and a few celebrities were diagnosed with the disease but fortunately, have been on speedy recovery, and Singh, in fact, tested again negative.

Now news has arrived from the North-East side of India, where popular actor Koel Mallick has unfortunately tested positive for COVID19. Mallick is one of the most popular and celebrated actresses in the Bengali entertainment industry. What furthermore is all the more saddening and worrisome for her fans here is that not only Mallick but also her whole family, which includes her husband, father and mother have all tested positive for the virus..

The one encouraging aspect in this saga is that they are under self-quarantine and didn't have the need to be admitted in the hospital as per the reports. They have even been monitoring their health on a day to day basis.
