Rakshanda, Raj, Vineet, and Meenakshi in DD's bi-weekly

Years back, DD National was the only channel that was a source of entertainment for millions of Indians. Then came a revolution, and the small screen got flooded with many channels and not to mention innumerable shows. Somewhere down the line, DD lost its appeal and luster and fell back in the race of broadcasting. But recently, things seem to be changing for good. Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate is airing on DD along with Star Plus. And DD is coming with one eye catch show after another and has also up the ante in the marketing front. We are all aware of the buzz Upanishad Ganga created. Now, the latest we have learnt is that Rakesh Chaudhary, the maker of the series Sanyasi, is coming up with another serial on DD National. This bi-weekly family saga has been christened Hum Phir Milenge and will go on air from mid-August (2012), every Monday and Tuesday. And to create an impact and do justice to the plot, the production house has roped in imminent and prominent faces from the entertainment industry, namely Raj Zutshi, Rakshanda Khan, Vineet Raina and former Miss Nepal, Meenakshi Vandana Sharma. Raj Zutshi is currently seen in Colors’ Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek JunoonDevon Ke Dev Mahadev (Life OK), while Vineet Raina is facing the camera for Jamunia on the same channel (DD). Moreover, Meenakshi Vandana Sharma would be returning to TV after a hiatus. She has earlier acted in shows Kareena Kareena, Kamini Damini, Kitto and so on. “It’s great to be a part of this bi-weekly and sharing screen with great actors like Rakshanda and Raj,” confirmed Vineet to Tellychakkar.com. We contacted Meenakshi Vandana Sharma, she too confirmed being a part of the project. All our efforts to reach Raj Zutshi and Rakshanda Khan proved futile.
