Tellychakkar.com has been constantly reporting about Sunshine Productions’ upcoming show The Buddy Project on Channel V. Hence to keep you updated, we get you yet another dope from the sets. We hear that the production house is running out of time as the show is to go on-air on 23 July (2012) as the promos suggest. However the production team is still not ready with the required bank of episodes. As per a reliable source, the character of the vice-principal was to be played by Mrunal Pandit. But Raja Sevak replaced Mrunal after the pilot shoot. Hence the production had to re-work on the pilot with Raja, the process of which consumed a lot of time. And just when, the team was gearing up to get going, the rains hit the city. Since most of the scenes of this show were to be shot in the outdoors, it was getting difficult for the team to have a brisk progress. However, we hear that the creatives have re-worked on the story by which there will be more of indoor shoots than outdoors, from now on. Currently, the production house is working on their first episode. But they are yet to complete six episodes that is the number asked by the channel before they hit the airwaves on 23 July. Furthermore, the show will be aired at 6 pm from Monday to Friday and its repeat will be telecast at 8:30 pm the following evening. Said producer Sudhir Sharma, “Yes, we are facing a lot of difficulties due to the rains but we are working towards it. Since we have created a huge campus, we were to shoot more in the outdoor, but now it will be more of an indoor shoot. However, we are sure that we will be done with at least five to six episodes by the time the show goes on-air.” The school, that has been created in Malad, has a 35 thousand square feet campus and an equally huge indoor too. The team has been shooting all across Mumbai that also includes places like Marine Drive.
