Paras Kalnawat talks about similarities that Anupamaa and his mother share

MUMBAI : Star Plus’ newly launched show Anupamaa is gaining immense accolades from the masses. Anupamaa chronicles the tale of a homemaker- Anupamaa, who has very much dedicated herself to keep her family merry. However, she never gets the respect she deserves. Viewers find the show very relatable and make people realize the importance of the Anupamaa at everyone’s house.

Anupamaa is being produced under the banner of Rajan Shahi's Directors Kut. Anupamaa cast includes a bunch of actors like Sudhanshu Pandey, Paras Kalnawat, Madalsa Sharma among others.

In the show, the character of Paras Kalnawat is very supportive towards his mother. Similarly, in real life as well Paras is a dotting son and supports and motivates her mother.

Talking in brief about similarities that Anupamaa and his mother share, he said, “There are many similarities that Anupamaa and my mother share in common. Like Anupamaa, even my mother also thinks about family first. She always keeps our likings in mind and creates a positive environment at home. In case she cooks our favourite dish she would eat less but makes sure we eat well.”

He added, “I feel kids take their mothers for granted. They merely consider her as a housewife which is very wrong. I think kids should help their mothers to grow. I helped my mother to become tech-savvy.  My mother is very good at craft and till date she is following her passion. Even after marriage she continued. She has made a lot of soft toys for me. It feels good seeing your mother happy. You won’t believe she is proud of me for choosing a role like Samar.”
