MUMBAI: Priya Anand is over the moon that she has finally gotten back to work. She said that she is fortunate enough to have begun working during the lockdown. Along with this, she also revealed that she will be making her digital debut with a web series titled Simple Murder. Going by the names she tagged on her social media post, Simple Murder is a Hindi web series with Sachin Pathak, Mukesh Chhabra, Ayaz Khan and Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub as part of the cast and crew.
The shooting of Simple Murder has been going on for about 21 days. As per government protocols, the makers are following stringent rules at the shooting spot. Priya shared a slo-mo video on Instagram in which she can be seen walking through the disinfectant tunnel. She twirled her way through the tunnel.
Sharing the video, Priya wrote, "I've had the good fortune of getting back to work! It's been over 21 days since I began filming with this gifted bunch! Soo grateful to have the opportunity to make my digital debut in Hindi with #Simplemurder. With stringent regulations the collaborative Art of Filmmaking continues (sic)."

Many of her fans pointed out that it is not safe for people to walk through the disinfectant tunnels and added that the state governments have conveyed the same.
Priya Anand, like the rest of us, was spending quality time at home during the lockdown. She resumed work in July and shot for the web series for three weeks. Simple Murder is expected to be out on Sony Liv. However, the makers are yet to announce the project and its details officially.
Priya Anand was last seen in a pivotal role in Tamil film, Adithya Varma, starring Dhruv Vikram. As reported earlier, the film is the official Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster flick, Arjun Reddy, which featured Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles.
