Shweta Gautam and Ashish Kaul to feature in Maverick's next for Reliance Big Magic

Actors Shweta Gautam and Ashish Kaul have gotten third time lucky, as they get to play a couple yet again in Anuj Saxena’s (Maverick Productions) upcoming show titled Crimes of Passion to be aired on Reliance Big Magic. The show will feature real cases and will go on air very soon. The shoot for the same has started in Mumbai, and the unit plans to capture most of their stories in Lucknow. Ashish Kaul and Shweta Gautam, who have played husband and wife in Doordarshan’s Pehchaan and Hats Off Productions’ show for Zee TV, Choti Si Zindagi, play a couple in one of the episodic stories. The tale will be about a love story gone wrong. When contacted, Ashish Kaul told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, Shweta and I always go together. Whenever I get chosen for a role where a wife is needed, I suggest her name. And she suggests my name wherever possible. This is the third show we are doing togethe.” Shweta Gautam, who was earlier part of Maverick Productions’ Kulvadhu on Sony Entertainment Television, stated, “Crimes of Passion talks about interesting subjects, and Ashish and I play a couple in one of the episodics. We are starting shoot from today (16 July 2012).” We tried contacting Anuj Saxena to know more about the show, but he remained unavailable.
