Rohit Roy reminisces his Swabhimaan days with Manoj Bajpayee: 'Ye dosti hum nahi todenge'

Rohit Roy took to Instagram to reminisce his Swabhimaan days with Manoj Bajpayee. He shared that he still is really close to the latter.

MUMBAI: On Tuesday, Sanjivani actor Rohit Roy took to his Instagram account and took a trip down the memory lane. He shared an old picture of himself with the talented and versatile actor, Manoj Bajpayee. The picture was from the set of the cult classic show, Swabhimaan.

Rohit Roy captioned the picture: "Ye dosti hum nahi todenge !!! Met this fabulous actor and human being on the first day of #Swabhimaan and since then have been friends... We don’t talk everyday but when we do, we start off from where we had left.. his first success #satya was celebrated at my home and the celebrations continue ... sending you lots of love (sic)"

The actor shared this memory on the completion of 25 years of Swabhimaan. During the lockdown, many old shows were aired on the television. From Ramayan, Dekh Bhai Dekh, Shaktimaan, these shows were re-telecast and enjoyed massive viewership.

Talking about Rohit Roy, during the lockdown, actors were sharing videos of cooking, cleaning, hair styling, and so on. The Sanjivani actor said that he fears actors might forget how to act.

Sonu Sood, who helped the migrants reach their hometown during lockdown is being hailed as the "messiah" of the poor. Talking about him, Rohit had writtem: "This is one guy who goes about doing his bit for society but NEVER talks about it.. even this picture came from someone's mobile phone unbeknownst to him.. Proud of you Sonu Pa.. You are truly an inspiration.. love always PS: in a sense, we are all migrants.. @SonuSood."
