Kuch Toh Log Kahenge team celebrates completion of 200 episodes

Click on the pic to view slideshow Director’s Kut’s Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, based on the well-known Pakistani series Dhoop Kinare, completed 200 episodes yesterday (16 July 2012). On this occasion, the cast and crew of the show seemed to be in a mood to celebrate. Though the team of Kuch Toh… did not have a huge celebration, there was a cake cutting ceremony which began only after Sharad’s (Kelkar aka Ashutosh) arrival on the sets. The star’s late arrival did irk a lot of actors as they had been waiting for long. However, to pacify everyone, the artiste brought in two cakes. Hence, the team cut three cakes, one from the production team and two from Sharad. The most important person, the producer of the show, Rajan Shahi was missing from the celebration as he is out of town. However, he did make a phone call to his close associate Vivek Jain to leave a message for the team. In the message, he apologised for his absence as he was out of town and also congratulated one and all for the completion of 200 episodes. On the occasion, Kritika Kamra aka Dr Nidhi, who has been a part of the show from the very beginning, said, “It does not feel like 200 hundred episodes. It’s been fun working with the team and we are looking forward to good work.” Sharad, who was also in a celebration mood, said, “Yes, it has been a lovely experience. It’s good to see us having completed two hundred episodes.” He even went on to thank his team for being understanding and co-operative while he wasn’t keeping well. Lastly Kritika added, “Sharad has promised to throw a party when he completes 100 episodes on the show.” Looks like party abhi baki hai!
