MUMBAI: Yesterday, the news about popular Television actor Sameer Sharma allegedly commiting suicide made rounds and left the industry numb. While the world had still not come to terms with actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, yet another popular actor Sameer ended his life yesterday.

In a conversation with TellyChakkar, Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki actress Renee Dhyani opened up on her bond with the actor. Renne and Sameer were good friends.
Renee said, “I received a voice note by Sameer (Sam) a few months ago wherein he expressed that he was not feeling right about various things. I could make out that he was depressed and thought to call him instead of replying back”.
She added, “Later, all of a sudden I received this information about his death. I regret not getting in touch with him when he contacted me. I might have shared some sorrow of his”.
Sameer was found hanging at his Malad residence on 6th of August 2020. The actor had been a part of projects like Kahani Ghar Ghar ki, Jyoti, Left Right Left, Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke among others.
