It must be noted, however, that the screenshots now made public do not reveal if the messages were acknowledged either by Chakraborty or Modi.

According to the sources, KK Singh, in his statement to the CBI has now alleged that the investigative agency should look into his son’s death as a case of a ‘murder’ and not an ‘abetment to suicide’.
This comes in just weeks after Singh filed an FIR with the Bihar Police, accusing Rhea Chakraborty, Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, Shruti Modi for ‘abetment to suicide’ among other charges.
The report also claims that the recent developments in the investigations, media reports, including circumstances where evidence was allegedly ‘destroyed’, lead the family to ask that the case be looked into as a murder.
Meanwhile, Rhea filed an added plea in the Supreme Court seeking protection from an alleged "unfair media trial" against her in connection with the late actor’s death case.
"The petitioner (Rhea Chakraborty) is already convicted by the media even before a foul-play in the death of Sushant Singh Rajput is established. Extreme trauma and infringement of privacy of the rights of the petitioner is caused due to constant sensationalization of this case," an excerpt from the affidavit read.
The CBI had registered an FIR against the 6 people accused by the Singh family last week, after receiving the Centre’s nod to take over the matter. The ED has also registered a case in the matter and has since summoned all the accused and a few others to probe the financial aspects of the case.
