MUMBAI: "Anupamaa" has been on of the most loved and watched shows since it's debut on July 13. The dance, drama, emotions and especially Anupamaa's warmth in the show fills the audience's heart with so much love that it has quickly became an addiction of many. Now, after the Rakhi celebration, the Shah family is all set to celebrate the festival of Janmashtami together.
The family is a follower of Lord Krishna and even greet each other with "Jai Shree Krishna", so you can expect a grand celebration on Janmashtami. The special episode will air soon and the cast is all decked up in the colourful ethnic attires.
Samar, played by Paras Kalnawat, is dressed as Krishna, and the audience can expect the talented actor to perform on a Krishna leela song. And its not just the Shah family, even Kavya, essayed by Madalsa Sharma, has been invited to the family affair.
While, everyone is busy with the celebration, Vanraj, played by Sudhanshu Pandey, has a hidden motive behind inviting Kavya. Obviously, whatever it is, will come as a shock to the family and audience alike. This surprise will definitely make it an interesting watch.

"Anuapamaa" co-produced by Rajan Shahi and his mother Deepa Shahi under their banner Shahi Production Pvt Ltd airs Monday to Saturday at 10 p.m. on Star Plus. The show features Rupali Ganguly in the titular role. It also stars Aashish Mehrotra, Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya and Muskaan Bamne.
