Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut has churned out some interesting concepts which have been trendsetters on television. And now, the production house is all set to mesmerize viewers with an interesting love story which will be part of Star Plus’ series of telefilms, Teri Meri Love Stories, slated to launch on 11 August (2012). Director’s Kut recently completed the long shooting schedule for the telefilm which stars Gautam Rode, Kushal Punjabi, Dimple Jhangiani, Dolly Ahluwalia. Talking about the telefilm to Tellychakkar.com, Producer Rajan Shahi says, “This is the longest of schedules that Director’s Kut has had. We shot at the Pataudi Palace in Udaipur for 14 days. We then had a schedule in Noida, Delhi for two days. We then came back to Mumbai where we shot at some interesting real locales at malls, Hiranandani etc.” Director’s Kut which has unearthed new talents like Sara Khan, Parul Chauhan, Neha Sargam, Hina Khan, amongst others, will bring to the limelight yet another fresh face Mala through this telefilm. “It’s too premature to be talking about the story line. However, I have to say that we are introducing a new talent Mala as the romantic lead in the telefilm. She is a name to look out for in the future”, confides Rajan. He further adds, “We have completed the shoot for the telefilm and are engrossed in the pre-production of it. We are presently kicked about it and are giving our best shot”. Ask him whether there is a second telefilm in offer from the channel, and he says, “I don’t know about that. As I told you, we are busy with the pre-production of this telefilm as of now.” We wish the team of Director’s Kut all the very best for the telefilm.
