MUMBAI: In Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, apart from CBI, the Narcotics Control Bureau has also intervened. After the Enforcement directorate found proofs against Rhea Chakraborty bringing out the drug angle, the Narcotics Control Bureau registered a case against the actress and her friends. Now, going by the latest reports in Times Now, Rhea Chakraborty and others named in the case will soon undergo a Narcotics test. They'll undergo a blood test as per the need of the investigation.
After the drug angle came to light, Times Now accessed a few deleted WhatsApp chats of Rhea and aides like Jaya Saha and Samuel Miranda allegedly conversing about drugs like MDMA, hash, and more. It was also reported that Rhea received a supply of Cannabidiol Oil and supposedly gave it to Sushant by mixing it in coffee.
Now, the Narcotics Control Bureau is going to investigate the case. Reportedly, the NCB has registered an FIR against Rhea and others under Sections 28 (punishment for attempts to commit offences), 29 (punishment for abetment and criminal conspiracy) and 20-B (produces, manufactures, possesses, sells, purchases, transports, imports inter-State, exports inter-State or uses cannabis, shall be punishable).
