Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death: Rhea Chakraborty Slams SSR’s Former GF Ankita Lokhande For Her Contradicting Statements

MUMBAI: After being in the media glare for almost 2 months after actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, actress Rhea Chakraborty has finally spoken up. Accused in the FIR registered by SSR’s family in connection to his death and also accused of money laundering, Rhea in conversation with India Today, has now also spoken about SSR’s former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. The Manikarnika actress in her series of earlier media interactions has claimed the late actor being in touch with her during Manikarnika shoot but also stating that she was not in touch with Sushant for 4 years. However, Rhea slammed this claim of the actress.  

The actress claimed contrary to Ankita’s statement in various media interactions of being in touch with Sushant Singh Rajput when she was shooting for Manikarnika, Rhea mentioned she is pretty confident nothing of this sort happened for the past four years. Also when it came to allegations on Rhea about handling finances of SSR, she stated if that would have been the case, she would have stopped the late actor from paying the installment of the property in which Ankita is currently residing.

Yesterday, Ankita Lokhande had shared a video of the late actor flying a plane contradicting Rhea's reports of SSR being Claustrophobic inside an airplane. Ankita had shared this clip with the caption, “Is this #claustrophobia? You always wanted to fly and you did it and we all are proud of you”

Ankita in several interviews with leading news channels had also claimed that a person like Sushant Singh Rajput who taught people to live life would never slip into depression and take a drastic step.
