MUMBAI : The humongous craze and anticipation surrounding ALTBalaji and ZEE5 Club’s youth action-thriller franchise ‘Bang Baang’ is a testament to its popularity. After announcing the show recently with a bang, the makers have already started hunting for the lead cast.
Since the show is going to be full of youth action, adventure, murder, mystery, drama, and thrill and will be shot at exotic locations across Maharashtra and Rajasthan, the makers have started the audition process across the country, looking for young and popular faces for their show.
A source informs, “The announcement of Bang Baang, especially the action-packed teaser logo, has raised the curiosity level among the audience and also among the young and talented aspiring actors to feature in the biggest action-thriller franchise ever in the OTT space. Owing to the nationwide lockdown, the makers have conducted over 1500 virtual auditions across the country hunting for popular lead faces. The makers have also been overwhelmed with thousands of auditioning videos from the actors.”
“Since the show features high-octane action sequences, the makers are specifically looking for the male and female lead with terrific screen presence along with the ability and flexibility to pull off the action scenes,” the source adds.
‘Bang Baang’ is set to be a visual spectacle for quintessential action cinema lovers and will leave the viewers glued to their seats. The show involves mystery, suspense, dhamakedaar action, and loads of youth drama amidst deep-lying secrets that unravel one by one.
Produced by Akshay BP Singh and directed by Abhishek Kapur, Bang Baang is scheduled to go on floors in September.
