MUMBAI: "Returning to sets feels like coming back home,” says actor, comedian, and singer Sugandha Mishra, who will now be seen on 'Gangs Of Filmistan'. She recently spoke to a media portal on many interesting subjects. Read on to know more.
‘Female comedians have limitations on TV’
While female characters are quite popular on comedy shows, it is still rare to see a female comedian. Sugandha Mishra says, “When men dress up as women, it is visually funny and people like that, but for us, female comedians, we have to put in a lot of effort to make people laugh. Being a female comedian, ek limitation already hoti hai ki humein yeh nahi karna, waise nahi dikhna. If a woman cracks a non-veg joke, people might find it vulgar, but men can do it easily. Comedy mein thoda open up hona padta hai , but for us limitations bahut hain,” she says.

‘Can’t say anything about Bigg Boss yet’
There are multiple reports that claim that Sugandha was approached for 'Bigg Boss'. Reacting to that, the actress mimics Bigg Boss’ voice and says, “Bigg Boss chahte hain ki iske bare mein aap Bigg Boss dekhein aur phir faisla karein. Filhaal toh we are busy with this show. This show will air on weekdays, we have a hectic schedule.”
So we will not see her on 'Bigg Boss'? “I can’t say anything right now. I am still in talks with the team toh aap show dekhenge uske baad hi pata chalega,” she replies.
