Sushant Singh Rajput death probe: NCB registers criminal case against Rhea Chakraborty

The NCB registered a criminal case against Rhea owing to her drug link and the chats found by the ED.

MUMBAI: The SSR case took a big turn when Rhea’s drug links were busted by the ED. The NCB entered the picture to investigate the case.

Now, as per India Today, the NCB has found that the peddler who used to supply drugs to Rhea Chakraborty, purchased it from the dark net. Thus, NCB has officially booked Rhea and her brother for drug conspiracy.

According to a report in India Today, the NCB has registered a criminal case against the actress and her brother Showik Chakraborty under Sections 20, 22, 27, and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act.

Rhea, Showik, and others involved in the alleged ‘drug-chats’ have been booked under the same sections.

This development has come owing to the WhatsApp chats between Rhea and her aides. The Bollywood drug link is also under the scanner.

We have three agencies investigating the case now: ED, CBI, and NCB. The CBI will be investigating the suicide or homicide plot, the ED will be looking into the money-laundering part, and the NCB will investigate the drug link of Rhea and her aides with Bollywood.

For those who don’t know, the dark net is one of the biggest online platforms for black marketing of drugs and contract killing.
