MUMBAI : Actor Savi Thakur is all set to start his journey as the lead in the show "Guddan - Tumse Na Ho Paayega". While he is not a newcomer in the television industry, he has often expressed his nervousness about being part of an already successful show. But, there is something else also on his mind.
The death of Sushant Singh Rajput left everyone shocked. The successful actor, who started his acting journey with television, eventually became a big name in the film world. He was allegedly found hanging at his Bandra apartment in June. Many factors behind his death, including nepotism, were discussed, and the CBI recently took the case under its wings. Savi, who has been working in the television industry for over five years, was equally shocked with the news and it led him to reflect on various aspects of life. “I do follow Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. He was a brilliant actor and I felt bad when I got to know about his death. I was really affected by his demise. Post this, I started thinking a lot. I am an outsider and don’t know anybody in the Bollywood industry. Neither I have many friends, nor I know anything about the industry. But this news made me think that if the reports about nepotism and all is true then how will you grow in this industry. Then I asked myself to stop thinking so much and just focus on my work and have faith in God,” he says.
While there have been many sudden and shocking deaths in Bollywood earlier, Sushant’s case triggered the audience to demand an inquiry. Savi, who featured in Sunanda Sharma's popular music video "Sandal", feels people have become more aware lately.

“People are intelligent also and most importantly they knew about Sushant and what kind of person he was. They love that man. I can’t say anything about the previous cases because no one said anything then and they were closed even before anyone could speak, but in Sushant’s case so many things are clear. So, people can’t behave dumb they will definitely speak what they feel. We want the truth to come out,” shares the actor, who has earlier been part of shows such as "Seth Ji", "Jamai Raja", "Porus" and "Namah". There is lot of buzz happening about Savi being the new face of Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega and his fans are waiting with bated breath.
