Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Rhea Chakraborty’s Brother Showik Chakraborty Shifted To Taloja Jail with others

MUMBAI: Rhea Chakraborty, the prime suspect and the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in the drugs case. Rhea’s arrest came days after her brother Showik Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB. After Rhea Chakraborty’s arrest, it was reported that the actress was taken to Byculla jail. Now, in a significant development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the latest reports state that Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty and others who were arrested in connection to the drugs angle are being shifted to Taloja jail. Rhea continued to stay in Byculla Jail in Mumbai.

India TV reported that Showik Chakraborty is being shifted to the Taloja jail in Navi Mumbai. As per the report, Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik, who was arrested in connection to the drugs angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case is shifted along with others arrested. Apart from Showik, the others to be shifted to Taloja jail are SSR’s house manager Samuel Miranda, SSR’s housekeeper Dipesh Sawant and the drug peddlers and others arrested in connection to the case. 

It was reported that Rhea Chakraborty’s brother and the others were to spend their 14-days sentence in the Byculla jail. Reportedly, as the Byculla jail is not facilitated with a quarantine centre, Showik and the others are being shifted to the Taloja jail. With this latest development in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, so far, Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, SSR’s house manager Samuel Miranda, SSR’s housekeeper Dipesh Sawant and the drug peddlers are arrested in connection to the drugs angle.
