I won't be typecast: Rishina Kandhari on doing two shows together
Rishina Kandhari is a busy woman. Though she is juggling between two TV show "Aye Mere Humsafar" and "Tera Yaar Hoon Main", she calls herself lucky that she got a good amount of work to get back to, especially post the three-month nationwide lockdown. She also mentioned that she won't be typecast like other actors on-screen as she plays two entirely different characters in the shows.

While she will be seen as Chandni in "Tera Yaar Hoon Main", her character in "Aye Mere Humsafar" is called Imarti. Talking about her characters, she said, "Both the characters are drastically different from each other. Chandni is more like Rishina. She is very pretty, elegant and a fashion lover. She wears sleeves less blouses and transparent net sarees and is very classy. Imarti is a typical Indian bahu who wears all Indian clothes and jewellery. I am really working hard on this character because she comes from a very desi family background and speaks in a Rajasthani dialect, so I am working on my language skills as well. But I am glad that I am able to learn a new skill. Because my characters are so different from each other, I get to play so much on-screen and whenever I go on the set I enjoy doing both the characters immensely."

"The audience is going to see me in two different get ups, so I won’t be typecast like any other actor on-screen. Every time people watch me on-screen they will get to see a fresh new look of mine in both the shows. I am really thankful to God that he gave me this opportunity for playing two characters at the same time and that too in totally different genres, looks and language," she added.

Asked how is she managing working on two shows together, the "Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev" actress said, "As an actor I really feel blessed for doing two shows and that too immediately post lockdown. And I don’t manage them, they themselves manage with each other, wherever I am needed they tell me to go on that set. The production house is taking care of it."

While "Tera Yaar Hoon Main" airs on SAB TV, "Aye Mere Humsafar" can be seen on Dangal TV.
