MUMBAI: In the city of dreams, many artists come to fulfil their dreams of becoming an actor. In most cases it is fame and popularity that matters the most to several people. After one or two shows, actors venture into reality shows to showcase their real-self to the audience. (Read here: Param Singh shoots for Haiwan despite bike accident! )
Actor Param Singh of Sadda Haq fame thinks quite differently. He feels that he is in the industry to showcase his acting talent and would want to refrain himself from the glittery world of reality shows. In a candid conversation with TellyChakkar.com, Param said, “I feel I’m not a cut out for reality shows. I’m a very private person and wouldn’t want my privacy to be invaded. Being an actor is absolutely a tough job and after shooting and feeling like the character you play for more than 10 hours a day; I feel the rest of the time I need to spend with my family and myself rather than indulging in rehearsals for several shows and shooting for them as well. Reality shows seem quite uninteresting and exhausting for me given the fact that I’m a private individual. I would love to take up a Directors’ or Writers job.”
He added, “I have full respect for celebrities who entertain the audience with their performances in reality shows. With this stance of mine people confuse me to be an introvert which I believe is not true. I’m quite fun loving and friendly, I just have my priorities set firm."
Good luck, Param, for your future endeavours.
