Why is Aye Mere Humsafar's Rishina Kandhari listening to ‘Nimbuda Nimbuda’ on loop

MUMBAI: Just 2 weeks into Dangal TV’s new show ‘Aye Mere Humsafar’, Rishina Kandhari has already received immense appreciation for her perfect portrayal of the chulbuli Rajasthani Bahu, Imarti.

Adorning the Rajasthani attire along with matching jewellery to go with it, Imarti has paved her way into the hearts of her viewers. But it has not been without hard work re-iterates Rishina.

Speaking about the effort she puts in to ace her character, Rishina Kandhari says, “I have been watching a lot of Rajasthani film scenes to understand the diction. In addition to this, I listen to Rajasthani folk songs every day in my make-up room. I have created a playlist of nearly 30 songs of various artists which include songs like ‘Kesariya Balam’, ‘Nimbuda’, ‘Duma Dum Mast Kalandar’ to name a few. Thanks to my character of Imarti, marwadi has now become like my second language.

Recognizing Rishina’s efforts, Hemant Thatte who plays the role of Sundar Kothari, her on-screen husband, says, “Rishina has perfect the dialect so well that sometimes even I am stumped. She races through her lines and I am left waiting for my cue. But I admire her effort and am in awe of how flawlessly she delivers her dialogues. I am sure she is winning many hearts with her brilliant portrayal of a masti khor Bahu."

Aye Mere Humsafar has touched the right cords with viewers with its emotional storyline. Vidhi’s aspirations and determination despite her disabilities is what makes her character so unique and lovable. Dangal TV’s Aye Mere Humsafar offers viewers a unique story on how aspirations & positivity can help win over challenging situations
