We have seen Leela shouting, behaving like a typical mother-in-law, being a loving wife and a grandmother. On being asked what part of her character she likes to play the most, Leela was quick to respond that the mother-in-law part is what excites her the most.
Alpana said, "If Leela's character turned completely positive, the viewers won't get to see Anupamaa's positivity."
The actress says, "I like to see myself playing Anupamaa's mother-in-law on the show."
Earlier too, Alpana had revealed that she loves shooting most of her scenes with Rupali Ganguly.
