Talented and versatile actor Varun Badola is happy with the way his role is shaping up in IMRC Entertainment’s Phir Subah Hogi on Zee TV. He also feels that Thakur Vikram Singh is justified in falling for Sugni (Gulki Joshi) even when he is a married man.
Talking about it, Varun tells us, “You have to understand that Vikram’s wife was mentally ill. For many years he had accepted his fate but when his wife disappeared, a new girl entered his life. It would be very easy for us to be moralistic and say he should return to his wife. But we are humans and deserve our share of happiness as well.”
Varun goes on to mention such a real life case, “I have personally known people who have been through this situation. A friend of mine has a terminally ill partner and he waited for his spouse to pass away, after which he married a girl who he knew. People may even interpret this as selfish behaviour, but I would want to ask such arm chair moralists what they would do in such a situation.”
On Phir Subah Hogi’s ratings, Varun states, “We are rating 2+ which is good, but I feel we can do better.”
