MUMBAI: In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 14, Sidharth Shukla was seen discussing with Hina Khan and Gauhar Khan about his childhood memories with his dad, speaking about how he got late to for school once while carrying a heavy bag on his shoulder and how his father came to drop him till the school bus.
Sidharth Shukla said that since they were getting late, his father took the bag and ran towards the bus and Sidharth ran behind him. The actor reveals that he was awestruck on seeing his father's hair bounce while running, just like a hero.
Sidharth said that his father had lung disease when he was a small-time model as at that time, his career hadn't kick-started well He added that his disease was such that doctors said he wouldn't live more than two years but he pushed himself for seven years because he wanted to see me get stable in life.
The Balika Vadhu actor said that his elder sister was married by that time. He wished he could have done something more for his father.
Gauhar and Hina heard him out and agreed by saying that lucky are those who have both their parents and especially if they are all ‘hale and hearty’.
Sidharth feels disappointed saying that he couldn't do much for his dad back then, but when he can do everything now, his father isn't around.
Sidharth doesn't open up much about his family and this was the first time when he spoke his heart out and choked while speaking.
Sidharth is extremely close to his mother and credits everything to her in life.
